Wayne Wei-Ming Dai
Chairman, President and CEO
Dr. Wayne Wei-Ming Dai founded VeriSilicon in August 2001 and has served as the chairman of the board of directors, President and Chief Executive Officer since then. Prior to VeriSilicon, Dr. Dai was the Co-Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of Celestry Technologies, Inc., an EDA company, which was acquired by Cadence Design Systems in 2002. Prior to that, he was the founder, chairman of the board of directors, and Chief Executive Officer of Ultima Interconnect Technology, Inc., one of the predecessor companies to Celestry.
Dr. Dai was the founding Chairman of the IEEE Multi-Chip Module Conference, the founding Chairman of IEEE Symposium on IC/Package Design Integration and Co-Chairman of the Program Committee of the 2010 International Green Energy Forum. He was an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems and an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on VLSI Systems. He has published over 100 papers in technical journals and conferences and received the NSF Presidential Young Investigator Award from the President of United States in 1990. He was elected as one of the top ten venture-backed entrepreneurs in China in 2005, and elected as one of the 2005 top ten talents of science and technology in China. In 2007, he was honored with The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in China. He won The Executive of the Year of 2013 ACE Award, Hurun Industry Achievement Award 2014, The Innovator of the year, APAC of 2018 ASPENCORE World Electronics Achievement Awards, The "Leading Pioneer" in 2018 Shanghai Smart City Construction, The Contributor of the year of 2019 World Electronics Achievement Awards. He is currently the Executive Vice President of International Union for Science and Technology Innovation, the Vice President of China Semiconductor Industry Association IC Design Branch and the President of China RISC-V Industry Consortium.
Dr. Dai received his B.A. degree in Computer Science and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of California at Berkeley. He was a professor in the department of Computer Engineering at the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Wei-Jin Dai
Director, Executive Vice President
General Manager of IP Division
Wei-Jin Dai joined VeriSilicon in 2016. He is currently our Director and Executive Vice President. Wei-Jin has more than 30 years of experience managing business and product development, including as President & CEO of Vivante Corporation before it merged into VeriSilicon. At Vivante, he oversaw the development of industry-leading GPU IP, VISION Processor IP, and Display IP products used in automotive, IoT platforms, entertainment systems and mobile devices. Before joining Vivante, Wei-Jin was Corporate Vice President at Cadence Design Systems’ leading Digital Implementation System Division for the Encounter product line, which was acquired along with the company Wei-Jin co-founded, Silicon Perspective Corporation. Silicon Perspective Corporation developed the industry-leading First Encounter virtual prototyping systems. Prior to Silicon Perspective, Wei-Jin managed product development at Quickturn Design Systems, a leader in emulation technology, and held engineering and management positions at Hewlett Packard and Lucent Bell Labs.
Wei-Jin holds M.S. and B.S. Degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Wenqian (Emma) Shi
Director, Executive Vice President

Secretary of the Board of Directors
Wenqian (Emma) Shi is currently our Director, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Board of Directors. She was successively Financial Controller and Corporate Vice President since joining us in 2006. Before joining us, Ms. Shi was Finance Controller of Essentra PLC, a supplier of plastic and fibre products, from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, Ms. Shi was a financial manager of Hewlett Packard Shanghai from 2001 to 2004. Ms. Shi worked at Ernst & Young Huaming LLP, a registered public accounting firm, as an auditor from 1998 to 2001.
Ms.Shi received a bachelor’s degree in international accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Ms. Shi is a certified public accountant in the American state of Washington and is a member of the Chinese Institution of Certified Public Accountants.

Haocheng (Victor) Fan
Senior Vice President, Custom Silicon Division
Haocheng (Victor) Fan is curently our Senior Vice President, responsible for all of our turnkey ASIC and design services activities. He had held management positions with the Project Management Office since joining us in 2011. Prior to joining us, Mr. Fan served as a senior manager of the hardware department of RealVision, Inc. from 2007 to 2011, where he develops display-related products based on SoC technology. From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Fan was a design manager and design engineer in the semiconductor design departments of several Japanese companies. Prior to this, he worked as a digital design engineer at Trident.
Mr. Fan received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in micro-electronics circuits and systems from Shanghai Jiaotong University.

David Jarmon
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Business Development
David Jarmon joined VeriSilicon in 2016. He is currently our Senior Vice President, responsible for Worldwide Sales and Business Development. Prior to VeriSilicon's acquisition of the company in December 2015, David held the same position at Vivante Corporation. David has more than 30 years of experience in semiconductor design services and automation. Previously Vice President of Customer-Driven R&D at Cadence Design Systems, David has also played key sales leadership roles at successful startups, including VP of International Sales at Silicon Perspective, Managing Director of Japan Operations at Cooper and Chyan Technology, and as Consulting Executive at Cadence Design Systems, with services practices in Silicon Valley and Japan.
David is an active alumnus of the Cockrell School of Engineering at the University of Texas (BSEE 1983). David also received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Hawaii (MBA 1996).

Zhehong (Tony) Qian
Vice President, General Manager of Design IP Division
Zhehong (Tony) Qian is currently our Vice President, responsible for R&D direction and operation management of the Design IP Division, including reviewing and deciding product development plans and specific product R&D indicators, and timely adjusting R&D goals or directions to ensure the market competitiveness of products. Mr. Qian has been involved in the famous large multinational companies in the semiconductor industry for nearly 20 years. Prior to joining us, Mr. Qian served as Global Senior Research Director of IP Division of Cadence, responsible for the Cadence High Speed Memory PHY IP product line. He Led the R&D team to develop the industry's first 16nm-based DDR4 interface IP, the industry's first 12nm-based LPDDR4x interface IP, the industry's first 7nm-based DDR5 interface IP and many other industry-leading products. He has filed 4 U.S. patents and 1 China patent.
Tony received his Master Degree in Microelectronics and Solid-state Electronics at Fudan University, and Bachelor of Electronic Engineering at Jiangsu University of Science & Technology.

Yang (Leo) Wang
Senior Vice President, Business Operation
Yang (Leo) Wang has served as Senior Vice President of Business Operation in VeriSilicon. Mr. Wang was successively Director of Application Engineering, Senior Director of IP Solution and Vice President of China Sales and Business Development since joining VeriSilicon in 2006, taking charge of a growth technical support team for China semiconductor customers, in addition to his responsibilities of business development for both IP licensing and IC design services in China. Mr. Wang has more than 20 years of experience in business and technical development in semiconductor IP, IC design services, embedded software, and wireless communication, which includes strategic and management positions in R&D, customer support, technical marketing and sales. Before VeriSilicon's acquisition of ZSP (DSP Division) from LSI Logic in June 2006, Mr. Wang established and led the application engineering team, as a manager of DSP solution engineering department of LSI Logic, to support China fabless customers and develop IP licensing markets in various segments including advanced wireless communication, multimedia, high-end audio/voice, industry control, etc. Prior to LSI Logic, Mr. Wang held R&D management position at LinkAir Communications, Ltd.
Mr. Wang received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Tianjin University and his master’s degree in business administration from Peking University of Post and Telecommunications.

Zhiwei (Wiseway) Wang
Vice President, General Manager of System Platform Solution Division
Zhiwei (Wiseway) Wang is currently our Vice President and General Manager of System Platform Solution Division (SPSD), responsible for the design of SoC software development kit and system level solutions. Wiseway joined VeriSilicon in 2019 with more than 15 years of experience in SoC industry. Wiseway previously served as VP of engineering, director of Yuneec Group and successfully lead the development of multiple consumer and commercial products for around two years. From 2011 to 2017, Wiseway served as the senior director of Marvell multimedia BU Great China region, in charge of the development of SoC software and global support of multimedia customers, successfully lead the team on delivering industrial leading Google TV, Android Set-Top-Box and OTT medial player turnkey solutions. Prior to this, Wiseway worked for AMD DTV business unit and Broadcom Broadband as senior manager, and as the software development manager for the starting up multimedia SoC company Wischip.
Wiseway received a master’s degree in computer science from Zhejiang University and a bachelor’s degree in computer software from Sichuan University.
