VeriClear Audio (VCA) is a platform IP offering from VeriSilicon addressing the ultra low energy needs of Always-ON, high quality Voice/Audio processing for wearables and smart home devices.
The VCA solution consists of an integrated hardware subsystem using a ZSP core along with a set of peripherals, and a configurable software framework that can be targeted for different products.
The VCA platform can be used stand-alone in a system providing the full range of functionality needed in a product, or can be used with an existing host in a multi core SOC. It is designed to be easily integrated into any design, enabling system developers to focus on the application level, and have the confidence in the proven, low energy foundation of the VeriClear Audio platform.
ZSP is supported by VeriSilicon’s powerful, easy to use ZView IDE that includes a fast cycle accurate simulator, profiling and debug tools, JTAG emulator probes, and FPGA evaluation boards.
Customers can run standard reference C/C++ code to get up and going on ZSP quickly. Also available for ZSP are optimized libraries for various voice/audio codecs, speech recognition, voice quality enhancement, and sensor algorithms.
ZSP deliverables include a fully synthesizable DSP and subsystem, ZView tools and relevant application software.
