SDK License Request Form FAQs

How do I find my Host Name?

Windows:

Use the hostname command in a CMD shell.

Linux:

Use the hostname command at a shell prompt.

How do I find my "LM-X Hostid(Network adapter)"?

Type "lmxendutil -hostid" from a prompt in the \license directory. Look for the line "ETHERNET:" or "Network adapter:" followed by the Hostid. This is the HostID that you will enter into the VeriSilicon Tools License Manager website. From the example lmxendutil output below, the HostID is 00123F3D0D2D.

Example:
$ lmxendutil.exe -hostid LM-X End-user Utility v3.6.3 Copyright (C) 2002-2011 X-Formation. All rights reserved.

ETHERNET: Intel(R) PRO/1000 MTW Network Connection - Packet Scheduler Miniport
Hostid: 00123F3D0D2D
